Thanks to the constant pestering of my friends, I have created Ask Asher Anything, where you can, ask me (Asher) anything, and find the answers to life (yeah, not really).
I have often been told that I have a strange knowledge of completely useless and random facts stored somewhere in my brain.
On a daily basis I am asked questions about the most random subjects, and often times I am able to answer questions on a variety of topics not usually expected from someone who might look or act like me, and thus have been pushed to create “Ask Asher Anything”.
There are three things that most often describe me when my friends take the time to do so (which is not often):
1. An obsession with college and professional sports
2. An odd knowledge of random facts and trivia in a strange array of topics and categories.
3. A large collection of songs lyrics which I have memorized and can recite either with or without music.
The first passion is already reflected in my online persona, a college football website known as BCS Know How, at www.bcsknowhow.com.
The other two passions, have, until this time, been left untapped by the internet, but that’s all about to change.
Whenever the time comes in my daily life where I am asked a question of a useless knowledge and trivia manner, and am able to answer said question, the exchange will be directly relayed to you, the viewer. Accompanying these factoids will be extra information I encounter when pursuing more information.
Hopefully these strange and unconnected facts will spike interest in the most random of random facts that exist in the world that you might want to look into.
A similar approach will be taken with song lyrics, if or when I sing along to a song and am complimented on, or questioned about why I might know all the words to “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus, the lyrics will appear right here, accompanied with either a YouTube video or a music clip.
Finally of course, if you, the viewer, are too lazy to head to the real Wikipedia or Yahoo! Answers for the answers to any of your random trivia questions, and yet have the drive to visit this site and leave a comment, you can comment any or all of the previous posts, asking your own question, which will be quickly and effectively answered in the style of the questions that are answered here.
